The OC Cove is an open workspace within the Cove @ UCI. The workspace includes access to events, offices, conference rooms, and is the primary work area for teams accepted into the Wayfinder incubator program. The space provides an area for startup incubation activities and access to a collection of partners from within the OC region covering the financial, technological, education, investment, business services and legal consulting sectors.
The Cove Prototyping Lab is available to UCI Students, UCI Staff/Faculty, Wayfinder Teams, Cove Tenants, Base 11 and the general public. Users can rent private lab benches or purchase monthly access to shared space and equipment. All prototyping work is performed by the user upon receiving training on the laboratory equipment. Cove Lab technical staff does not perform design work or process development for lab users.
