Through I-Corps™ a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded grant program, our team of experts train innovators to broaden the impact of research projects and develop effective solutions to customer problems.
Curriculum is based on real-world, hands-on learning that involves finding customers and understanding their problems to achieve a product/market fit. Participants will engage with other teams, share discoveries and provide feedback to other classmates.
Cohorts are offered monthly. Each cohort has one 30-minute intro session and three 3-hour sessions. See below for upcoming dates.
Please note, if you apply less than a week prior to Session 1 of an upcoming cohort, or if that cohort is full, you will be added to the next month’s cohort.
At the End of Three Virtual Sessions, Teams Will:
- Learn key concepts of the lean startup methodology
- Interview at least 15 potential customers or end users
- Accelerate understanding of the market landscape
- Jump start commercialization activities
- Improve other commercialization funding prospects
- Reach a go or no-go decision for your project
